Ba Ria – Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO)

With over 30 years of formation and development, Ba Ria – Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO) is one of the prominent real estate enterprises in the Southeast region, particularly in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. From a solid foundation in urban housing development, HODECO has expanded its investment portfolio into mid–end and premium real estate segments, with outstanding strengths in coastal resort projects in Vung Tau, Long Hai, Ho Tram, and Binh Thuan.

Possessing a large land bank, strategic locations, and synchronous development capabilities from planning to construction, HODECO aims to become an integrated urban-resort developer, where infrastructure, amenities, living spaces, and social welfare elements such as education, healthcare, and community health are seamlessly connected. Guided by sustainable development thinking, the enterprise continuously upgrades living standards and gradually shapes modern, cohesive, and high-quality communities in key growth areas across the South.

Da Vang Beach Project, Mui Ke Ga – Binh Thuan

The Da Vang beach project is located in the Mui Ke Ga area of Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province, which is known as the “new tourism capital” of the South Central Coast. Boasting a long coastline, pristine natural landscapes, and a strategic location between Phan Thiet City and Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Mui Ke Ga is strongly attracting investments in infrastructure and premium beach resort tourism.

The Da Vang Beach project is invested in by HODECO’s subsidiary, Y Ngoc Binh Thuan Luxury Hospitality Real Estate Trading and Service Joint Stock Company. The project is planned to become an integrated resort complex featuring premium accommodations, beach entertainment, wellness services, and notably, a comprehensive healthcare complex co-developed with Hong Anh Healthcare Group. This will be an ideal destination for the wellness tourism model, which is growing rapidly in Vietnam.

The Light City Project – Vung Tau City

The Light City project is a new urban area being developed in Ward 12, Vung Tau City – one of the key master-planned areas in the northwest of Vung Tau City. Situated adjacent to the Tran Phu – Chi Linh coastal road, between the existing city center and major tourist hubs like Ho Tram, Long Hai, and Back Beach, Ward 12 is undergoing a powerful transformation thanks to infrastructure development policies and rapid urbanization.

At The Light City project, the designated healthcare land will be where Hong Anh Healthcare Group partners with HODECO to build and implement a comprehensive community healthcare mode including: GP clinics, a modern rehabilitation center, a nursing home, and other community healthcare services. The project is expected to serve not only the residents of The Light City but also provide comprehensive medical services including prevention, examination, treatment, and long-term care for people across Vung Tau City and surrounding areas.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Juliette Waterhouse, Chairwoman and CEO of Hong Anh Healthcare Group, expressed her vision:

“As we officially enter into this partnership, I trust that we will together build a vital piece of our healthcare ecosystem right here. The focus will be on developing wellness tourism, medical services, comprehensive healthcare centers, and modern retirement villages or nursing homes. We will constantly apply technological innovations to bring these facilities closer to not only Vietnamese citizens but also international tourists.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Le Viet Lien, CEO of HODECO, stated:

“With the direction of constantly elevating the quality of life in the projects developed by HODECO, we identify the integration of high-quality healthcare amenities as a core element. Partnering with Hong Anh Healthcare Group – an experienced and reputable organization in the medical field is a strategic move to materialize that goal.”

Integrating Healthcare Services into Resort Real Estate: Sustainable Development Strategy

Integrating modern healthcare systems into urban and resort areas reflects global development trends and demonstrates the strategic vision of investors in enhancing the sustainable quality of life for residents and visitors. Moving beyond building accommodation spaces or investing in entertainment amenities, next-generation real estate projects are aiming for greater goals, where comprehensive healthcare is a core component.

Recognizing the role of community healthcare in sustainable urban planning and premium resorts, HODECO and Hong Anh Healthcare Group have officially signed an Memorandum of Understanding for a strategic partnership to develop international–standard healthcare facilities integrated into HODECO’s projects. Hong Anh Healthcare Group will be responsible for designing the model, implementing, and operating these healthcare facilities, including GP clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and specialized, personalized medical examination and treatment areas.

The partnership between HODECO and Hong Anh expands beyond elevating resort real estate values to shape a new development trend: integrating high–quality medical services right into the heart of urban and resort areas. Instead of separating living, vacationing, and medical treatment spaces, this model delivers a complete living experience: where residents and tourists receive proactive, continuous healthcare right within their daily living environments. This is not only a step forward in infrastructure development but also the foundation for building sustainable, resilient communities tailored for future healthcare needs.
