Ho Chi Minh City, May 13, 2025 – Hong Anh Healthcare Group and Nam Long Commercial Property Company Limited, a subsidiary of Nam Long Group (HOSE: NLG), officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a comprehensive healthcare complex within the Waterpoint integrated township, located on Provincial Road 830, An Thanh Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An Province. The MOU signing ceremony took place at Nam Long Group’s headquarters, witnessed by Mr. William Lawrenson, Vice Consul of the British Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, senior leadership from both companies, along with experts and partners in the medical and urban development sectors.
This cooperative project aims to create a new urban model linked with social security and community welfare, envisioned to become a pioneering benchmark in the healthcare sector for both in Vietnam and the region.
Hong Anh Healthcare Group

Under the newly signed agreement, Hong Anh Healthcare Group and Nam Long Group will co-develop a nearly 3-hectare integrated healthcare hub situated within the strategic commercial and service zone of the Waterpoint Nam Long integrated township in Ben Luc District, Long An Province. This flagship complex is master-planned to house an international-standard general hospital, a premium senior living facility, a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, and a dedicated medical research and training institute.
As Vietnam undergoes rapid population aging alongside an increase in non-communicable, chronic diseases, mental health challenges, and post-COVID-19 concerns, the demand for an integrated healthcare framework has become more urgent than ever.
Building a comprehensive healthcare model – centered around a high-quality general hospital of international standards linked with a modern nursing home, a rehabilitation center, and a medical research and training center – is not only an appropriate healthcare development direction for Vietnam, but also a long-term solution to many existing problems such as: the shortage of high-quality treatment facilities, the deficit of certified medical human resources, structural fragmentation in the healthcare system in general and for the elderly, and the gap in healthcare access between urban and suburban areas.
