The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the presence of representatives from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Launch of the Hong Anh Health Innovation Institute: The Institute was established with a clear mission to serve as a hub for groundbreaking ideas, cutting-edge medical technologies, and passionate research talent. It acts as a bridge connecting basic scientific research, clinical application development, and practical technology transfer into comprehensive community healthcare. Furthermore, it serves as an international-standard training center for medical personnel and researchers, equipping them to address current and future healthcare challenges such as chronic disease management, population aging, precision medicine, and artificial intelligence in healthcare. To fulfill this mission, the Institute will focus on key areas including: Regenerative Medicine, Stem Cells, Brain Health, and the Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data in Early Diagnosis.
Strategic Partnership Agreement with HekaBio: This agreement officially opens up collaborative opportunities between Vietnam and Japan regarding healthcare innovation and initiatives. Today, HekaBio introduced two new initiatives: Alpha DaRT alpha-radiation therapy, offering high efficacy for head and neck cancer patients, and advanced NKGen cell therapy (SNK01), designed for the prevention and adjunctive treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
